for keychains – designed for daily handling and weight – we use waxed nylon cord for added strength. after testing natural alternatives such as leather and cotton, waxed nylon proved most resistant to moisture, sweat, and ongoing tension.

silsila objects are designed to be handled and lived with, though care is recommended to preserve their longevity.

avoid prolonged exposure to water, hard impact, sharp objects, or harsh chemicals. pieces can generally handle being loose in bags and hanging as ornament objects for everyday use. when not in use, store away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
